Can you figure out a way to convert the two intertwined paper rings into a flawless square? It’s a fascinating challenge, give it a try!

Guidelines
- There should be no leftover paper scraps.
- Only two straight cuts are allowed.
- You can use scissors and two pieces of tape.
Solution
To start the process, take two strips of paper.

From each strip of paper, make a paper ring like shown below.

Position both rings so that they intersect at a right angle. Use two pieces of tape to secure the rings together at the point of intersection, ensuring they are firmly attached and stable. This setup is crucial as it forms the foundation for the next steps, as illustrated in figure below.

Next, carefully slice one of the loops lengthwise down the center, as shown below. This action will transform the loop into a set of paper ‘handcuffs,’ which are now two separate pieces connected by a thin strip of paper.

Finally, make a straight cut along the paper strip that connects the two newly formed loops. This cut should be made with precision, as depicted in the image.

Once you complete this cut, you will notice that the two loops will separate and rearrange themselves, resulting in a perfect square shape.

Congratulations! You have successfully completed the puzzle and created a perfect square from the initial setup.
