The Theodorus Spiral is named after the ancient Greek mathematician Theodorus of Cyrene. It is a captivating geometric figure that weaves a spiral pattern through a series of connected right triangles. Construction:

• Start with a right triangle with legs of length 1. Applying Pythagorean theorem to this triangle will create a hypotenuse of √2.
• Construct a new right triangle with one leg being the hypotenuse of the previous triangle and the other leg having a length of 1.
• Repeat step 2 indefinitely. This will create a beautiful image as shown below. This art form teaches the concept of Pythagoras to middle school kids and is an equally fun activity for elementary school kids.
